The comedian and producers caused uproar when they interrupted Adele during her 'British Album' speech for 21 at last year's ceremony.
Making light of the situation, Corden introduced Taylor Swift to the stage saying: "Here's a global superstar who was once famously interrupted at an awards ceremony."
He continued: "Well that doesn't happen here. Not on my watch. Not anymore."
Adele went on to win 'British Single' for her James Bond theme 'Skyfall' at this year's ceremony, and mentioned the incident during her pre-filmed acceptance speech.
"I won't keep you too long, because I don't want to interrupt the 'Best Album' speech at the end of the night," she jested.
Once the clip ended, Corden reassured viewers: "She definitely finished. She didn't say anything else - check the tape. She's 100% finished? OK."
The 'Mastercard British Album of the Year' award ultimately went to Emeli Sandé for her debut record Our Version of Events.
Lana Del Rey, Ben Howard and The Black Keys are among the other winners at this year's Brit Awards, which took place at London's O2 Arena.
