Smashing Pumpkins tribute album announced

A tribute album to the Smashing Pumpkins has been announced by record producers.
The LP will feature 12 Pumpkins songs, covered by a number of big name acts, including Panic! At The Disco and Ben Kweller.
Panic! have recorded a version of 'Tonight, Tonight', while Kweller covers 'Today'. Other tracks include 'Siva', recorded by The Deftones and The Bravery's version of 'Rocket'.
The album will be released on May 14, when all the bands will post their covers on their MySpace pages. A hard copy of the record will be available for free with Spin magazine's July issue.
