Girls Aloud begin 'Ten' UK tour in Newcastle - pictures

By
Girls Aloud began their new headline tour of the UK last night (February 21).

The girl group started the string of shows at Newcastle's Metro Radio arena as part of their 'Ten' tour, which celebrates their decade-long career.

They began the concert with their debut hit 'Sound Of The Underground' and went on to perform follow-up hits 'No Good Advice', 'Life Got Cold' and 'Jump'.

'Love Machine' and 'Biology' were included during the second act, while 'Sexy! No, No, No...' and 'Call The Shots' were in the third part.

Girls Aloud covered Carly Rae Jepsen's 'Call Me Maybe' for the fourth and final act, ending the show with their recent single 'Something New'.

However, they returned to the stage for an encore of 'I'll Stand By You' and 'The Promise' before ending the concert.

Cheryl Cole showed off a new rose tattoo on her back during the show, which continues in Newcastle for a second night tonight (February 22).
