"Really buggs me that artists we're fans of ,flip on us in the press !" Horan replied on Twitter.
Tomlinson added soon after: "Hi @JakeBugg do you think slagging off boy bands makes you more indie?"

The 'Lightning Bolt' star previously claimed that One Direction would be forgotten when their young female fans grow up.
In his latest interview, he added that the group must know they are terrible.
