Gwen Stefani is denied sponsorship

Gwen Stefani's sponsorship has been pulled after her support act Akon behaved inappropriately on stage.
Verizon, who were sponsoring the ex-No Doubt singer on her North American tour, have been forced to withdraw their funding after Akon was caught on camera dancing suggestively with a girl in her teens.
A spokesman for the telecommunications company said: "We had already decided to sponsor the Stefani tour when Akon was brought in and we have kept that situation under review.
"We have now decided to withdraw and the video was part of that decision."
The tour is currently continuing with Akon still in support.
