'Hey You', a collaboration with Pharrell Williams, can be downloaded for free from the MSN website from today.
MSN pledged to donate 25 cents for each of the first million downloads to the Alliance for Climate Protection.
Madonna will perform the song at the London Live Earth concert at Wembley Stadium on July 7. The concert will also feature performances from James Blunt, the Red Hot Chili Peppers, Razorlight and Genesis.
Live Earth's founder Kevin Wall said: "The early release of 'Hey You' is an incredible boost to our efforts to get people engaged in the environmental cause. We are thrilled that Madonna donated her art to Live Earth and is a part of this movement for us."
