The US rockers will appear at the Belfast event on August 14, it has been announced.
It is the second UK festival of the summer for the 'Use Somebody' band. They were announced to headline this year's Virgin Media V Festival alongside Beyoncé last month.
Nicola McCleery, Head of Marketing for Tennent's NI, commented: "We're incredibly excited that Kings of Leon will be taking to the stage at the festival this August, as we're sure our fans will be.
"They're one of the finest bands in the world and a phenomenal live act, and I'm sure they'll treat us to an unmissable set.
"We'll have more news on the rest of the line-up next month with many more top acts in store - details will be revealed very soon!"
The festival will take place at the Boucher Road Playing Fields in the Northern Irish capital once again. Last year's festival was headlined by Foo Fighters, The Stone Roses, The Black Keys and Florence + the Machine.
Kings of Leon will play six UK arena dates ahead of their festival appearances. The jaunt kicks off in London on June 12, with other dates in Manchester and Birmingham.
Tickets for the Kings of Leon date of the festival go on sale this Friday (April 12), priced at £49.50 including booking fee.
