Mark Wahlberg 'not reuniting Marky Mark and the Funky Bunch'

By
Mark Wahlberg will apparently not be getting back together with the Funky Bunch, contrary to recent speculation.

The 41-year-old Pain & Gain actor was asked by TMZ earlier this week whether he would consider reforming Marky Mark and the Funky Bunch for a one-off charity gig to help those caught up in the marathon bombings in Boston - Wahlberg's hometown.

The actor replied, "Why not?" in a deadpan fashion, but a source has now told The Wrap that a reunion will definitely not be taking place.

Wahlberg rose to fame in the late 1980s with the American hip-hop group, who are best known for the song 'Good Vibrations'. The band were nominated for one Grammy Award and two MTV VMAs during their career.

The Ted star recently thanked people around the world for supporting Boston following the tragedy, in which three people died.
