A*M*E and Skepta also played the event, which was streamed online and reached 50 million youngsters through a mass stand for change with tweets, which saw #vinspiredlive trending nationwide.

Ricky Gervais and Caroline Flack were among the celebrities to tweet their support for the charity and the message it aims to spread.

"You kids are the future, vInspired Live shows that despite all the doom and gloom you are thinking about how to make it better," Professor Green said.

"That is unreal. We live in a selfish world but you are working together to make it a more harmonious place… I love that, it feels like it's the '70s or something!"

He added: "There's so much going on in the media right now; it's so good to come here and do something that actually makes a difference."
