Live Nation was reported to have made Bowie a multi-million offer to play the Olympic Park in East London next summer, according to The Mirror.

AEG was also reported to be interested in making an offer for Bowie to play a possible show at Hyde Park.

However, the iconic star's rep told NME: "There are currently no plans for any live dates."

Meanwhile, Glastonbury Festival organiser Michael Eavis hinted that Bowie could headline the music event for a third time next year.

Bowie hasn't performed his latest album The Next Day live for fans yet, despite being heavily rumoured to embark on a small tour with the record.
