The group have been on an unofficial hiatus for the past decade, with their last album being 2002's Can You Do Me Good?

Earlier this week, the band wrote on Facebook: "Well now. Get a load of this...It looks like the three Glasgow boys (Justin, Andy and Iain) are going to be able to get together with Kris and Ashley to do some shows early next year.

"UK only at the moment, I'm afraid (but we are working it). There should be details later this week."

Although the band never officially announced their split, Del Amitri have not toured or recorded new material for over ten years.

Justin Currie will also tour in September, after releasing Lower Reaches last month.

Sunday 26 - City Hall, Newcastle
Monday 27 - O2 Academy, Leeds

Friday 31 - Royal Concert Hall, Nottingham

February:
