Ellie Goulding to release official 2013 Children in Need single

By
Ellie Goulding is to release the official 2013 Children in Need single.

The star will release 'How Long Will I Love You' in support of this year's campaign.

The song - which featured as a bonus track on her recent album repackage Halcyon Days - will receive an official release on November 10.

Speaking of her involvement, she said: "I've grown up watching BBC Children in Need so it's fantastic that I'm doing this year's single!

"It is an emotional song, but in a really positive way, and I've been completely blown away with the positive reaction it's had already."

A minimum of 20p from each download of the track will go to support the charity, with downloads of the song from Goulding's album also being donated.

Goulding follows in the footsteps of Girls Aloud and JLS, who have both released Children in Need singles in recent years. Girls Aloud supported the appeal with the release of their comeback single 'Something New' last year.

BBC's Children in Need Appeal Show airs live on BBC One on Friday, November 15 at 7.30pm.
