Angel Haze talks sexuality in Macklemore 'Same Love' cover - listen

By
Angel Haze has spoken about her sexuality in a new song.

The rapper has recorded her own version of Macklemore & Ryan Lewis's gay anthem 'Same Love', where she tackles the subject of her own orientation after much public speculation.

Haze begins the song by confessing: "Hi mum, I'm really scared right now but, I have to."

She then details a period in her teenage years when her mother disagreed with her sexual orientation and tried to alter her sexuality.

However, as well as supporting gay right, Haze admits towards the song's end: "No I'm not gay, no I'm not straight, and I sure as hell am not bisexual/ Damn it I am whoever I am when I am."

Angel Haze recently released her new single 'Echelon (It's My Way)', which has been lifted from her forthcoming debut album Dirty Gold.

The star recently told Digital Spy that her debut will include many different genres, such as country, rock and even opera.
