Justin Timberlake to perform at 2013 American Music Awards

Justin Timberlake is to perform at this year's American Music Awards.

The 'Mirrors' singer will take to the stage at the event for the first time as a solo artist on Sunday, November 24.

The annual ceremony will be broadcast live from the Nokia Theater in Los Angeles on ABC from 8pm.

Miley Cyrus, Luke Brian, Florida Georgia Line, Lady Gaga, Ke$ha, Imagine Dragons, Kendrick Lamar, Macklemore & Ryan Lewis and One Direction will also perform at this year's event.

Host Pitbull will also perform live, while additional acts will be announced in the coming weeks.

The American Music Awards will be voted for by the fans, with winners determined via online polls.

Macklemore & Ryan Lewis lead the nominations at the 2013 AMAs with six nods, while Timberlake and Taylor Swift have five each.

The coveted 'Artist of the Year' category pits Macklemore & Lewis against Timberlake, Swift, Rihanna and Bruno Mars.
