The new trophy has been designed by fashion icon and hat designer to the stars Philip Treacy and has a glossy black finish.
"Music has always been my inspiration and I'm fortunate to have worked with some of the music industry's greatest artists," Treacy said.
"My inspiration for the trophy comes from a uniquely British genre of music, punk."
Brits Chairman Christian Tattersfield added: "Philip is renowned for his distinctive and memorable designs so we are thrilled to have him on board for this year.
"His involvement guarantees that the 2014 award will continue the tradition of iconic Brits statues and we are pleased to be able to reward music creativity with something so unique and special."
Treacy was awarded an OBE in 2007 for services to the British fashion industry and designed hats for films including Harry Potter, as well as for stars including Madonna, Grace Jones and Lady Gaga.
James Corden has confirmed he will host the Brit Awards 2014, but revealed that his fifth time in the role will be his last.
