Daft Punk, Katy Perry voted best music of 2013 in DS readers' poll

'Get Lucky' has been named song of the year in Digital Spy's 2013 reader poll.

Over 22,600 people voted in the end of year survey and the Daft Punk track featuring Nile Rodgers and Pharrell Williams beat Katy Perry's 'Roar' into second place by just a few hundred votes.


Perry's Prism topped the Best Album vote by a significant margin, and the singer also was named the Best Female Solo Artist.

A two-part album helped Justin Timberlake win the Best Male Solo Artist prize ahead of Avicii and Gary Barlow.

X Factor boyband One Direction won the Best Group prize with 21.1% of the vote ahead of Little Mix on 16.6%.
