McBusted confirm plans to record new album: "It will happen"

By
McBusted have confirmed plans to record a new album.

McFly drummer Harry Judd revealed that the supergroup - consisting of McFly and Busted's Judd, James Bourne, Tom Fletcher, Danny Jones, Dougie Poynter and Matt Willis - will record new music following their sold-out headline tour.

"We were thinking of going in the studio and properly laying something down before the tour started," Judd told Capital FM.

"We've had no time because of Tom having his baby, the tour rehearsals and Matt's filming bits on EastEnders. Everyone has been so busy."

He added: "It will happen after the tour. We'll be writing on the road and hopefully soon after the tour we'll get in the studio."

McBusted will begin their 35-date tour across the UK in Glasgow on April 17.

McFly previously confirmed plans to release their sixth studio album in February, but those plans have seemingly been put on hold due to the overwhelming demand for McBusted.
