Kanye West to host world talent contest

The event is known as Thirst Studio Global Sessions and is to take place next weekend (May 25-27).
It will see new acts perform alongside the likes of Paul Oakenfold and Gym Class Heroes.
Thirst Studio travelled around the world throughout 2006 searching for new talent. The winners from each country will perform at the event this weekend.
The winner of the overall competition then stands to win the opportunity to record a track with Gabrielle and Dresden.
