Portishead are planning to return to live music after nearly 10 years away - with a performance at Butlins.
The cult act will play at the All Tomorrow's Parties Nightmare Before Christmas event at the holiday camp in Minehead this December. They will also organise other acts for the show.
A statement on the band's MySpace site reads: "We've chosen a diverse collection of artists to play with us and we're really looking forward to it."
Their last planned gig was in the 1990s. The statement continued: "We have always loved the All Tomorrow's Parties set-up and we're happy our first shows will be there.
"It's great to have the opportunity to introduce bands we love or have influenced us."
The event is an off-shoot from annual All Tomorrow's Parties festivals which are held in the spring.
