Marr: I will never reunite with The Smiths

Johnny Marr has admitted he will never reunite with The Smiths.
The guitarist has been asked on more than one occasion to join up with his old bandmates, with large amounts of money offered each time.
But Marr insists he would never take the offers up, given his personal differences with his former bandmates. The musician is currently touring with Modest Mouse, having recorded with them on their latest album We Were Dead Before The Ship Even Sank.
"The Smiths have been offered quite a bit of money to get back together a couple of times," he said. "With those sums of money, I'm not at all rich enough to turn those down, but I wouldn't accept those offers either. You don't do it for the money - well, I wouldn't anyway. No amount of money would get me to play with people who don't get along."
