Kaiser Chiefs name 'Bad' album

Kaiser Chiefs have named their latest studio album Bad, to reflect the quality of the record.
The band recorded the entire album in around 45 minutes, while they were in the studio making Yours Truly, Angry Mob. The band originally planned to release the LP as a fan-only CD, but now it seems that they can't even bear to listen to it themselves anymore.
"One night we were left in the studio with just our sound engineer," singer Ricky Wilson recalls. "We had this idea to record an album for 45 minutes off the top of our heads. We just made it up as we went along. We called it Bad because it's so awful. We took our inspiration from Will Ferrell's character in Anchorman who just says what he sees. I haven't listened to it since we recorded it. I'd like to, but I know I'd cringe because it's really bad and unfunny."
