Kaiser Chiefs drummer Nick Hodgson has taken dubious credit for the rumoured Spice Girls reunion.
Since Take That began their latest tour, rumours have been circulating that the 90s girl group are planning to reform, even though Melanie C has expressly shown her reluctance from the start.
However, Hodgson has now claimed that he managed to convince the singer to rejoin the famous pop quintet.
Speaking to MTV, the drummer said: "I said ‘You should do it. Now is the perfect time.’ Mel said, ‘Do you really think?’ I said ‘Yeah.’
"So she said, ‘Right I’ll do it.’ I asked, ‘Are you kidding?’ and she said ‘No.’"
