Girls Aloud to record new album
Published Wednesday, Jun 6 2007, 12:58 BST | By Nick Levine

The pop five-piece have been plagued by rumours that they are splitting, but singer Kimberley Walsh insisted that she has returned to the studio with her bandmates to work on a follow-up to 2005's Chemistry LP.
She said: "Well, we're in the studio recording the new album. (The press) want to blow everything out of proportion just to make news. It is a bit annoying for us."
Since forming on Popstars: The Rivals in 2002, Nadine Coyle, Sarah Harding, Nicola Roberts, Cheryl Tweedy and Kimberley Walsh have scored 15 consecutive top ten singles. They have released three studio albums and a triple platinum greatest hits collection.
