A 39-year-old man died after being found unconscious in his car at a music festival at Loch Ness.
He was found by a member of the public in the early hours of Sunday - the second day of the Rock Ness event.
Police said his death did not appear to be suspicious.
Paramedics tried to resuscitate the man at scene, along the shores of the famous loch, before he was taken to Inverness's Raigmore Hospital.
Northern Constabulary said in a statement: "Unfortunately the man died shortly after his arrival at Raigmore Hospital.
"A full police investigation is being carried out. There do not appear to be any suspicious circumstances at this stage."
More than 35,000 fans attended the festival, headlined by The Chemical Brothers and Manic Street Preachers, and it was otherwise hailed as a success.
