Brian May 'pulls out of' Joss Stone duet
Published Friday, Jun 29 2007, 10:30 BST | By Nick Levine

The Queen guitarist was scheduled to perform with the 20-year-old soul singer at the Concert For Diana on Sunday, but is said to have cancelled his appearance at the Wembley Stadium gig to concentrate on his studies.
May, 59, is currently working hard to earn a PhD qualification in astronomy.
However, May's representative denied that the iconic rocker had ever agreed to the duet, saying: "Brian was never confirmed although they were in discussions about it. He is up to his ears trying to complete his PhD thesis so he couldn't do it."
