According to the group's drummer Roger Taylor, bassist John was mesmerised by Lily's performances at the Concert for Diana yesterday.
"John loves Lily Allen," Roger told the Daily Star. "He was waiting in the wings watching her. He's crazy about her."
Roger added that the band are also hoping to record a song with rock group Kasabian.
He said: "I've been a fan of them for a while, so if they ever fancied doing something I'd be well up for it."
