Winehouse pulls out of Liverpool gig
Published Thursday, Jul 5 2007, 10:22 BST | By Daniel Kilkelly

The Rehab singer had planned to perform in front of 4,500 fans as part of the Liverpool Summer Pops event - but she cancelled her concert at the last minute, complaining that she was "ill" and "exhausted".
Show organisers were not told that Amy was unwell until 6.55pm - just five minutes before doors were due to open. Thousands of fans were then told to go home.
Summer Pops organiser Chas Cole explained that Winehouse was seen by doctors backstage and ordered not to perform.
"It is regrettable Amy had to cancel her concert and I send out apologies to all those who queued up to see her tonight," he told the Liverpool Daily Post. "The concert will still go ahead at another date, however, so her fans will still get to see her sing."
The gig is now expected to go ahead on July 18.
