Keane going green for next album

Published Saturday, Jul 7 2007, 14:35 BST | By Daniel Kilkelly
Keane have promised that they will keep the environment in mind when they make their next album.

According to the Daily Star, frontman Tom Chaplin wants to record the band's third record in an eco-friendly studio and use biodegradable materials for packaging.

Chaplin added that he is "incredibly excited" to be playing at the Live Earth gig today - and fully believes in the cause.

"We're incredibly excited to be taking part in today's concert. Anybody who tells you that global warming is a myth is living in the past," he explained. "We can all make changes in our own lives. We can all put pressure on our governments and businesses. We hope that as many people as possible will be listening today."
