Pussycat Doll Nicole Scherzinger has revealed that she is planning a solo career.
The ‘Don’t Cha’ singer managed to schedule work on her solo LP around sessions for the Pussycat Dolls’ upcoming sophomore album.
A message on the pop star’s official website reads: "Stay Tuned. Nicole Scherzinger official website coming soon. Debut album Her Name Is Nicole out Oct 07."
The album will be preceded by the single 'Whatever U Like', which features a cameo from US rapper T.I.
Scherzinger rose to fame in 2001 when she won a place in Eden's Crush, the girl group formed on the US version of Popstars. After the group disbanded, she joined the Pussycat Dolls - then a burlesque dance troupe - to record the band's self-titled debut album.
Pussycat Dolls, released in 2005, sold seven million copies worldwide and launched five hit singles, including the UK number ones 'Don't Cha' and 'Stick Wit U'.
