Kate Nash has revealed that she recorded much of her debut album on her own laptop.
The singer, whose debut single Foundations reached number two in the UK charts, put together several songs using the GarageBand music software package, which comes with all Apple computers.
"There are some ditties on there made using GarageBand. That's how I used to record when I first started because I didn't have anything else except my laptop, so I just messed around," Kate told the Daily Star.
"It's a fun thing to use if you want cheesy 80s beats and it's especially useful for intros, which I took and put through the mixing desk. They should be giving me a promotional deal."
