The singer has already clocked up nine weeks at the top of the charts in the UK and she is also still number one in the US and Ireland.
If she manages to get a tenth week she will break the record for the longest running number one this century and the longest since Wet Wet Wet topped the charts for 15 weeks in 1994 with 'Love Is All Around'.
The longest-running song ever was Bryan Adams' 'Everything I Do (I Do It For You)', which stayed at the top of the charts for 16 weeks in 1991.
