The soul star has revealed that she is a huge fan of the Wonderful World singer, whose Undiscovered album topped the UK chart, and is determined to drum up interest in him.
"His voice is f***ing gorgeous. I love it so much. I sing his song Wonderful World in my show. Some Americans know his music, some of them don't," Joss told the Daily Star. "Before the song I'm like: 'If you don't have a copy of the album PLEASE do yourself a favour and go get it.'"
Stone added that people in the US are far more supportive of her career than in the UK, where she finds many of the comments made about her hurtful.
"Of course it hurts sometimes, because over here people prefer to comment on the way I look or my personality, but in the US it's all about the music," she explained. "They're so sweet and supportive."
