Arctics triumph at huge Trafford gigs

The Sheffield-based band crossed the Pennines for their biggest ever shows on Friday and Saturday at the Lancashire County Cricket Club venue.
The stars entered the stage to the Rocky theme on Friday and launched straight into singles 'Fluorescent Adolescent' then 'I Bet You Look Good On The Dancefloor'.
Frontman Alex Turner was talkative, welcoming shouts of "Yorkshire, Yorkshire", referring to their home county. "What are you saying?" he joked. "You're sh*t? That's not polite."
The band did face technical problems, as they had at Glastonbury Festival, playing on unaware as the sound cut half way through 'Balaclava'.
"Ever so sorry about that, that always happens to us," complained Turner after realising: "I was talking to you like Batman and you couldn't hear us. Joke's on me. Anyway let's put it behind us."
He declared at the end of the first night: "It's been a pleasure. I won't forget it!"
