Christina Aguilera cancels tour dates

Christina Aguilera has been forced to cancel two world tour dates due to ill health.

The singer is believed to have suffered breathing difficulties before collapsing backstage at a gig in Melbourne on Friday night. She was told by doctors that she needed bed rest and advised to cancel her remaining Australian concerts.

A statement released by the singer explained that she is suffering from flu, and contained an apology to fans for letting them down.

However, tour insiders have claimed that Christina is four months pregnant and the stress of her performances has taken its toll. Aguilera is said to be keeping her pregnancy a secret until she can reveal all in a special magazine deal.

A source told The Sun: "The wardrobe department have been letting out her costumes to accommodate her growing tummy. We have been told to keep it hush hush."
