The former Busted star had solo hits with 'Up All Night' and 'Don't Let It Go To Waste' before parting ways with Mercury Records in July.
Willis told DS: "I keep getting offered loads of TV work, which is kind of not really what I wanted to do."
Speaking about being dropped by Mercury, he added: "The solo career didn't work out as well as I hoped so...I just want to do whatever I'm good at, and what I'm good at is music, I think."
When asked whether he would ever consider branching out into television, he revealed: "I don't want to do anything that I'm not very good at, and at the moment I don't think I'm very good at TV. If I get good at it, I might do it. If I don't, I'll try and plug on."
