Britney plans secret London gig

Britney Spears is planning to perform at a secret gig in London for a small number of fans next month.

The troubled singer is flying out to the UK for time away from her family members, who have become concerned about her recent behaviour. She has rarely been out of the press over the past ten days; making headlines for her disastrous OK! photoshoot, breaking down in tears while filming her new music video, and allegedly threatening a paparazzi photographer.

Spears plans to stay at the Covent Garden Hotel - and insiders have claimed that she will check in under the name of Marilyn Monroe.

A source told the Daily Star: "Britney can't wait to spend some time away in London and away from family members who have been fussing about her. And she would love to lay on a secret gig for around 60 fans."
