Jay-Z denies he plans to quit Def Jam

The rapper was rumoured to be thinking of switching to rival company Columbia Records but he has insisted this is not the case.
Jay-Z told Billboard of Columbia: "My three-year contract is up soon... I guess Rick Rubin is (there) and we've got a relationship.
"But I haven't talked to Rick since he started at Columbia. I called him to say congratulations. But I've learned to leave the possibility open. Sometimes rumours spark real things."
