‘With Every Heartbeat’, a collaboration with fellow Swede Andreas Kleerup, vaulted from five to one after CD single sales were added to its downloads tally.
The 28-year-old popstar, who last enjoyed a UK hit single in 1998, fought off a strong challenge from last week’s number one, Timbaland's 'The Way I Are', which dropped to two.
Elsewhere, Kanye West powers into the top three on downloads alone with 'Stronger'.
