The Backstreet Boys have said that they never want to split up, claiming that they would like to be around for as long as The Eagles.
Howie Dorough said: "We hope to be around, God willing, as long as The Eagles.
"Each of us have always said, since day one, we're gonna support each other and each other's individual endeavors and give each other the chance to spread their wings, kind of like what The Eagles did and come back together every so often and do group records.
The singer added: "We're really tight, we're like a family."
The boy band member's comments follow the departure of Kevin Richardson from the group a year ago.
However, fellow band mate Nick Carter has claimed that the boys will never shut the door on Richardson returning to the band.
Carter commented: "He came to us to ask for our blessing and we totally gave it to him and, at the the same time, he gave us his blessing to keep on going. But the door is always open. I spoke to him the other day."
