Arcade Fire and LCD Soundsystem have joined forces to release a joint seven-inch single.
The record will be sold at gigs the two acts are co-headlining during a tour of the US next month. The single will also be available on a selection of websites.
Canadian rockers the Arcade Fire will include a recorded version of Serge Gainsbourg's 'Poupee de Cire, Poupee De Son'. The Montreal seven-piece regularly include the song, which was a Eurovision Song Contest Winner for France Gall in 1965, within their live setlist.
James Murphy's LCD Soundsystem will contribute a cover version of the Joy Division classic 'No Love Lost'.
