A UK representative of the band told Teletext that the group is not ready to release any further material until the new year.
The 'Paranoid Android' stars' last album was 2003's Hail To The Thief, although lead singer Thom Yorke did release solo album The Eraser last year.
Fans of the band have been expecting new material from the group since they performed a spate of live gigs in the summer of 2006, which included a headline slot at the V Festival.
