Dr Dre sues Death Row records label

Hip hop producer Dr Dre is suing record label Death Row over the rights to his debut album The Chronic.
The former N.W.A rapper handed over the rights to the classic album in 1996, in an agreement with the label that they would continue to pay him royalties for the work.
However, four years later Dre called off the deal, arguing that he hadn't been payed his royalties.
Dre filed a lawsuit last week at the US Bankruptcy Court in LA claiming that the company were trying to sell copyrights for the album and asking for them to be returned to him.
