Leeds Festival passes without riots

The Carling Weekend: Leeds Festival has come to a close without the disorder it has seen in the past.
The northern leg of the weekend's events saw no reports of public disorder, West Yorkshire Police said.
There were 29 arrests for minor offences including drug related crime and theft throughout the festival and 130 reported thefts.
In recent years, although not last year, it has seen rioting and arson - particularly on the last night.
Meanwhile, the southern leg, at Reading, has hampered by technical problems on the main stage. Bands including Young Knives, Biffy Clyro and Red Hot Chili Peppers all suffered.
The issues ranged from sparse sound, broken guitar pedals to unreactive microphones. They resulted in bands cutting out half way through tracks.
Sunday night's headliners Smashing Pumpkins finished their set without difficulty, however, with outspoken lead singer Billy Corgan making a joke at the expense of British girls.
As the big-screen cameras panned the crowd, focusing on a scantily clad girl, he jibed: "There's something about a girl who's willing to take her top off so quickly.
"American girls are sluts too," the frontman added. "See - isn't it great to be alternative - You can say all those things."
