Doherty fails to appear at Get Loaded

Pete Doherty failed to make a surprise appearance at the Get Loaded Festival in London at the weekend.

The Babyshambles frontman had agreed to perform a solo acoustic set on the same stage where his former Libertines band mate Carl Barat was starring with his group, Dirty Pretty Things.

Organisers had planned for Doherty to show up and play at the event, but he reportedly entered rehab on Friday, meaning he was unable to attend.

It is believed that he has started a new rehabilitation course at the Clouds House rehab centre in Wiltshire.
