The Foo Fighters have announced details about their UK arena tour that is due to start in November, following the release of their new album, Echoes, Silence, Patience and Grace.

Dave Grohl's band wowed crowds when they headlined earlier this month at the V Festival in Essex and Leeds.

The rockers will be releasing the new LP on September 24 and have released the dates of their new tour.

The dates are as follows:

November 3 - Manchester MEN Arena
November 5 - Newcastle Metro Arena
November 6 - Birmingham NEC
November 9 - Glasgow SECC
November 10 - Aberdeen AECC
November 12 - Sheffield Hallam Arena
November 13 - Cardiff International Arena
November 17,18 - London O2 Arena

Tickets will be going on sale this Friday, August 31.
