Streisand snubs Oz tour for NZ?

Barbra Streisand is reportedly planning to ditch her 2008 Australian tour and perform in neighbouring New Zealand instead, because she is still upset about criticism that she received from the country in 2000.
The music legend was slammed by the Australian audiences seven years ago during her 'Timeless' tour for using an autocue to prompt her stage banter in between performing her songs.
Memories of it raining during her outside show in Sydney has also been said to have put her off playing there next year and reports claim she may change her plans to play dates in New Zealand instead.
A source said about the 2000 tour: "She felt misunderstood and her efforts to reach out to audiences were not fully appreciated".
However, Streisand's tour promoter Andrew McManus insisted that "nothing is definite" and pointed out: "(Streisand's management) said she wants to play markets she did not perform on her last tour. Hence New Zealand this time and not Australia."
