The Sex Pistols have become the latest group to reunite for a one-off concert after announcing they are to perform for one night together in London this November.
Original members John Lydon, Paul Cook, Steve Jones and Glen Matlock will appear at the Brixton Academy on November 8, marking 30 years since the release of their most notable album Never Mind the Bollocks, which caused uproar when it was first released.
The punk icons, who split in 1978, previously reformed for a world tour in 1996 and also got together for performances in 2002 and 2003.
Matlock recently revealed that he thinks The Sex Pistols can still be popular, telling BBC 6 Music: "Most bands who have any degree of success keep putting records out and tour and tour for 20 years.
"We never did that, so when we came back to it, there’s a fantastic bunch of songs there, they mean a lot, to a lot of people, the songs almost don’t even belong to us, they belong to the kids, lots of people identify with it all around the world.”
Tickets will be on sale from this Friday.
