Foo Fighters frontman Dave Grohl has revealed that he would love to be given the chance to play the drums for the reunited Led Zeppelin and has offered to be at their "beck and call".
The musician, who used to be the drummer for Nirvana, admitted that it would be unlikely that he would be contacted by Led Zeppelin, who have reformed for a one-off concert at the London O2 Arena in November. But he has said that he wants to at least try to go and watch them perform at the show.
Grohl said: "Ah, if I got that call, what the f**k do you think I'd be saying?
"I'd say, 'Hey (Foo Fighters band-mates) Chris and Taylor, let's take a little break for a few days, I'll see ya later!' But I don't expect that to happen."
He also insisted that if anyone should get to play the drums with the band when they reform, it should be Jason Bonham, the son of the original Led Zeppelin drummer John, saying: "Jason should be the one. Everyone knows that. He's a f**king phenomenal drummer."
