A man has died at a Smashing Pumpkins gig in Vancouver.
The 20-year-old was pulled unconscious from the mosh-pit at the city's PNE Forum after he was believed to have been crowd-surfing.
First aid staff attempted to resuscitate him by the stage before he was taken to a local hospital, where he later died.
PNE's media relations officer Laura Balance said: "In fairness to family and friends of this individual, we just don't want to start speculating. It's just a really, really sad ending to what started out to be probably a very fun night for a young man."
She added that crowd-surfing is allowed at the venue but is "discouraged" by security staff.
