Their last single 'Sexy! No No No' became the five girls' sixteenth hit within the top ten chart, taking the title from previous record holders Destiny's Child, who had 11 hits in the top ten in a row.
Madonna also entered the record book, succeeding Cher for holding the highest-grossing music tour per concert, and she also gained the record for having the most chart-topping albums by a female artist. Kate Bush had previously held the title.
Meanwhile The Rolling Stones managed to set the standard for the highest-grossing tour ever for their worldwide Bigger Bang concerts.
Robbie Williams has also been included in the record book, sharing a title with David Bowie for the most albums to reach number one by a male artist.
The new edition of the Guinness World Records book will be released on September 28.
